Youth Art Contest (International Day for the Elimination of Racial Discrimination)

To mark the International Day for the Elimination of Racial Discrimination (March 21, 2026), the Town of Stratford is proud to partner with Immigrant & Refugee Services Association PEI and the City of Charlottetown, PE to launch a youth art contest.

PEI students ages 5 – 18 are invited to explore the question: “How can young people stand up to racism and build an inclusive community?” through any of these media:

• Poster/Visual Art (digital or traditional media)
• Photography (digital or film)
• Literary Art (poetry, short story, etc.)

Prizes will be awarded to the best submissions in each category!
